Down 4 pounds since I started, 1 pound since last week.
I am exercising almost every day for 30 minutes and am up to 105 miles on the Walk to Rivendell (see sidebar). I'll probably stay at 30 minutes for quite a while now and just work on increasing difficulty level if it gets too easy. But right now it's just about challenging enough. I'm continuing to notice differences in energy level and strength so it is easy to continue now.
Reading Shadows of Ecstasy -- what a title, but it's a Charles Williams novel. I save novel reading for my exercise time and that works really well!
(You know, I mentioned last week that I'm not that good at starting new habits, but when I have started one I'm fairly good at keeping up a rate of increase. My problem is that I tend to escalate until I get overloaded and stop all together. I am aware that most likely this will happen again and so am trying to think of safeguards against it. So that is my mental health project right now).

Congratulations on the success you've seen! I know all too well what it''s like to push too hard and too fast only to crash and burn. Praying you'll avoid it this time!
Congratulations!! :-)
